darley street

We were commissioned in 2020 to provide planning and detailed design services for a small commercial development in Bradford. The project comprised the renovation and conversion of a Victorian three-storey building located in the city centre conservation area. The ground floor shop unit and its basement storage spaces were refurbished and the upper floors, including the attic storey, converted into three one-bedroom apartments. A townscape improvement grant was provided by the local authority to replace the poor quality shopfront. This was period detailed to be more sympathetic to the original architecture of the building and the new design incorporated a separate entrance from the street frontage to the residential accommodation above. The property was built out in 2023.
